1. Installation Requirements for Gas Turbine Flowmeters

The installation of gas turbine flow meters must meet the following requirements to ensure measurement accuracy and service life:

1. External environmental requirements: Indoor priority: It is recommended to install in a dry and well ventilated indoor area to avoid direct sunlight and rainwater erosion.

. Outdoor installation protection: If it must be installed outdoors, sun and rain protection measures should be taken (such as installing protective covers or rain shelters) to prevent equipment performance degradation or damage due to environmental factors.

2. Pre filter for medium impurity treatment: Install a filter in front of the straight pipe section of the flowmeter to intercept solid particles, welding slag, and other impurities in the medium, prevent turbine blades from getting stuck or worn, and extend equipment life.

. Pipeline cleaning: Before installation, it is necessary to thoroughly remove welding slag, rust, and other dirt from the pipeline. It is recommended to use an equal diameter pipeline (or bypass pipeline) instead of a flow meter for purging to ensure that the interior of the pipeline is clean before installing the flow meter.

3. Selection of installation location for easy maintenance: Choose a location that is easily accessible for subsequent disassembly, maintenance, calibration, and replacement of components.

. No strong interference source: Avoid strong electromagnetic interference (such as large motors, frequency converters) and thermal radiation sources (such as high-temperature equipment) to prevent signal distortion or equipment overheating. 4. Welding and Pipeline Requirements: Flange Welding Sp

ecification: Users need to weld standard flanges to the front and rear pipelines themselves. It is strictly prohibited to weld directly with flow meters to avoid high temperature damage to internal sensors or compensation components. The sealing gasket between flanges should be installed flat and not recessed into the pipeline to prevent medium leakage or affect the stability and aging of the flow field. Requirement for straight pipe section: Sufficient straight pipe sections (usually 10D in the front and 5D in the back, where D is the pipe diameter) should be reserved before and after the flowmeter to eliminate the effects of eddy currents and uneven flow velocity distribution.

Fifth, Grounding and Explosion Protection Requirements Reliable Grounding: The flowmeter needs to be grounded separately and must not share the ground wire with the high-voltage system to avoid interference or electric shock risks.

. Explosion proof equipment specification: Verify whether the usage environment meets the explosion-proof level requirements (such as explosive gas mixture category, temperature group). Strictly follow the national explosion-proof standards during installation, and do not change the connection method of the explosion-proof system or disassemble the front and rear covers, pressure taps, and other components on your own. 6、 Operation taboos: Do not operate under pressure: Do not disassemble or adjust the flow meter when there is pressure in the pipeline. Avoid severe vibration: The installation location should be far away from the vibration source (such as pumps, compressors) to prevent excessive wear of the turbine bearings. Temperature limit: Ensure that the medium temperature is within the allowable range of
